All Kinds Of NYC

Why is it that the most populous city in the United States produces very little professional skateboarders?  It is not like New Yorkers do not have the talent to be pro, it just never happens for them.  The skateboard industry is run from California.  Unless you move out there, chances are you will not make it as a pro skater.  It looks like the industry is trying their hardest to stay in power and not have non Californian companies start running the show.

Zered Bassett taking to the street of this great city.

I do not have any idea who these guys are but they are doing what I enjoy the most, cruising down the street hitting different shit on the way to a spot.  I wish I did that more often.  In 2014 I still have not had a good cruise, stupid tailbone makes it hard to push.

What else do I need to say, « Shut skateboards ».

As a kid growing up in Montreal, I skated the Metro underground for half the year.  That kept me sane.  If I am sane that is.
