CONVERSE CONS PROJECT: ARRIVES IN MONTREAL WITH A FREE “BUILDING SKATE STRUCTURES” WORKSHOP

Workshop to Take Place with Special Guests Phil Daoust and Brian Delatorre

WHO:

Converse Cons announces the arrival of Cons Project: Montreal, a series of community projects designed to inspire the next generation of creative spirits through interactive skate, art, and music workshops. Phil Daoust of Projet 45, a DIY skate park will be hosting the second stop to this year’s series of Cons Project workshops that will focus on “Building Skate Structures.”

WHAT:

Encouraging Montreal’s next generation of creative artists, designers, and skaters to register, “Building Skate Structures” will teach local participants how to build concrete skate structures from transitions, wedges, ledges and more. Working collaboratively, with accomplished ramp designer, Phil Daoust along with retail partner, Empire will work together to lead the daylong workshop with the help of Converse Cons Skate Ambassador, Brian Delatorre.

As one element of the overarching North American Cons Project initiative, Cons Project: Montreal is slated to activate alongside workshops in key cities including Toronto and Vancouver. This specialized program, geared towards the next generation of skate, art and music talents, offers extensive, hands-on workshops with renowned legends and up-and coming super stars at no cost.
