Cette année il y avait un « rail spécial » pour le skate, bonne idée à la base, mais quelqu’un a oublié de penser au landing.
JS Lapierre à gagné avec un lipslide, good for him. Mais avec un meilleur landing, les trucs landés auraient été tellement plus sick. Maybe next year?
J’ai une suggestion pour le trophé du Half Time Show de l’année prochaine : une paire de couilles en bronze.

Si le landing aurait été bien construit, JS aurait pas gagné avec un lipslide.
Entre 3 « concussions », Pif s’est tellement fait volé.

Bravo à JS pour avoir tout donné et rafflé la cagnotte payante. Le gif du slam de Mohawk ne rend pas justice à la violence de l’impact, doux Jesuuuuuus !!!

Every year I see the coverage of the half-time show, I wonder why the skaters even enter. Sure $2000 is nice to have and most skaters are really broke but does it make sense. The setup for the snowboard event must run past $50K and then they go and half-ass the landing for the skaters. That landing area was a joke. A bunch of guys hung-up on the landing of a big rail, that’s just not right. The landing should be much more safe and wider. At the same time, glossy paint on a surface that will get snow and ice isn’t so bright either. Add some sand in the paint to make it grippier guys. Skating a big garly rail with half wet feet is ballsy enough, why make the landing almost impossible too. With a safer setup you’ll give the fans a better show. At least it wasn’t a huge kinked rail this year.
Having said that, the skaters not only killed themselves but the rail too. Props to BS for his endless smoothness anywhere; I guess the beers are on you next time. 🙂 Vince, sick crooked grind you rail jock, haha.
So next year, it’s a minimega rail to quarterpipe?
