Hitting The Hills (modified the video link)

Over the years I ridden a bunch of weird skateboards.  To this day I ride non standard shaped boards but I’ve never been into long boards.  It’s not so much the boards that I don’t like riding, it’s the soft wheels.  Once I found hard wheels in the mid 80′s, I never looked BACK.  My wheels have to be 98 or more.  Yes, I know what Tison is thinking right now, “What are those 92′s that you bought”.  Those were a mistake.  I was so happy to find some nice 60mm Spitfires that I forgot to check the hardness of the wheels before purchasing them.  I also don’t like any board with a non functional tail.

Not many people that visit the Exposé blog ride long boards but many love to hit the hills.  Here is a short clip that a Montreal long board crew put together of some of what Montreal has to offer in hill riding.  I barely rode the hills last year so with this new year that just started I’ll state that in 2013 I’ll make more of an effort to hit the hills on the way to the bar.
